Unit 10

The advice that I would give to someone writing their first paper would be to take your time, make sure that you are using good sources and getting the sources from a good place. make sure that you dont copy no ones work, always give a author credit for their work, no matter how hard writing seems, it is really not and if you put yout mind and heart into it, you can do it.

In the past 10 weeks I feel that I have strengthened in many areas when it comes to writing. like about how to write a thesis statement, I never really use to understand exaclty how to write one, but now that I have learned how to do it, I am happy that I know and understand how to do it corrrectly.

The areas that I could improve would be with the citation. I still have a hard time with that. I am going to get me a book so that I can study, study, study, I see how important it is to do that correctly as well.

I really have enjoyed this class to the fullest. prof you were great.
Thanks so much for all that you have taught me. I look forward to writing more in the future. I will remember every thing that you taught me. and yes this was very FUN!

Unit 9

With my paper being almost done, I feel really pround and great that Ihave gotten this far, because after all the tough times I have had within this course (being nervous about each unit) ect.. I am really happy tha I have made it this far and have been given the opportunity to reach the final stage for my paper. I am very excited.

I feel a little nervous becaue I just want to make sure that I am doing all this correctly and making sure that I accomplish my goal. and I am not tired at all. I actually enjoyed this class and would love to learn more about writing .

The way I feel about writing is that I think it is very important to know how to write and at the same time you need to understand what is being written. I have always said that I love to write. but was never really aware of how much it was to REALLY write and REALLY know what I was doing. This course has changed me big time when it comes to writing. reading too

There is still so much more that I would like to research when dealing with writing. I am sure there is much more to learn.

Unit 8

The only issues that I have had was setting up my blog, seem like I just could not get it right and when I thought I was doing it correct, I was not getting any feedback from classmates or anything, I think what happen was that I set it up the right way but was forgetting to do the smallest thing to finalize it I guess, Im not even sure. but am very happy that it is not correct :)

I feel that the comments are good and it is a good idea that we are able to give our classmates some feedback. I am glad I can finally actually get responses now and give a reply. I am very happy with this blog and I think it is a cool way to get to know classmates, especially because we are taking online courses and dont get to see each other.

Yes I do plan to keep using this blog after the course is over. I hope I can keep in touch with all my classmates,

Unit 7

The way that I feel about peer review is that I think that it allows us to be able to get some good advice and helpful ideas before it is time to do the final paper. gives myself and other peers to learn more and know what we are and have done wrong in the process of getting prepared for the final paper. So far my experiences withe the peer review has been great. I actually like the fact that our peers can help us give some feedback, and even when it may not be what we want to hear, it still helps us to learn and know to do and not to do for the next time.

Discussion any "Ah Ha" moments that I have had, well cant really say that I have had any of those:) or at least have not realized that I have had that. I will say that I am happy at what I have learned about and different topics.

What I have found shocking in my process is that some times you have to keep really looking and searching to find what you are looking for or to make sure that u have the right information that is needed for your topic.

Unit 6

What I have been dealing with personally in the last 6 weeks is just basically trying to deal with the holidays and stay focused and on point with all my school work. so far I think I am doing good. I try my best to do good. now I will say that for the past 2 weeks or so I have been struggling with this blog. I have posted but it still seems not to be going through or at least no one can find what I am posting, So I hope that someone can see this and give me some feed back.

My ideas with my topic can be influential in later research because I think that I have a great topic and there is so much that can be said with within this topin. I look forward to doing much more reseach and finding out new things, what I like the most is that with this topic being so good, it can lead to a good discussion topic anytime.

Unit 4 discussion

I think we should cite out sources because it is good to know where the information came from and besides that if someone is reading it, they may want to know where the information came from and if it is true, so they may even go and look it up to make sure the what was written is correctly.

What I would do if someone used something I created and didn't give me credit, I would be very angry and upset because that is just like stealing. it is also not fair for another to get credit for something that someone else worked so hard to do.

plagiarism issues should be handled in a professional matter, I thin the person stealing should have a chance to speak out, because we have some people who dont know that they are stealing and may not realize what they are doing or have done

as for youtube, I am not sure what to say about that site as well as wikipedia, because I dont know too much bout those sites and I dont visit them often.

college comp II....unit 5 discussion

My personal writing writing process is something that I know for a fact that needs to be worked on, I need to keep up with the practice to enhance my skills to become a better writer.

My academic challenge has been that this writing process seems much harder than I thought.or either I am making it harder than it should be.

School in influencing my life greatly right about now, I am always eager and excited that I am in college and know that I am ready to move on the the next step once I have received my degree from this. I have been happy since I enrolled in college and I plan to keep moving forward with my education.
